Job summary

Vertiv seeks an Electrical Test Technician to perform functional, electrical and system-level testing according to established procedures. You will operate meters, power supplies, load banks, and diagnostic tools to validate performance.

You will troubleshoot issues with engineering and production, verify wiring, torque, labeling, and build compliance; document results, ensure equipment calibration, and follow safety protocols. Opportunities exist to improve test processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using multimeters, insulation testers, and torque tools.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team; commitment to safety and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and system-level testing per procedures and work instructions.
• Safely operate meters, power supplies, load banks, and diagnostic tools.
• Identify, diagnose, and document electrical or mechanical issues; collaborate with engineering/production to resolve.
• Verify installation, wiring integrity, torque values, labeling, and build compliance prior to testing.
• Complete test reports and documentation accurately in systems.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO, arc flash, PPE, and company policies.
