Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing is seeking a seasoned field technician to lead inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and startup of low and medium voltage equipment in the field and shop. Local, regional, and national travel is required; international travel is preferred.

Candidates should have 5+ years of electrical experience with a HS diploma/GED; U.S. work authorization. NETA/NICET certification or equivalent experience is preferred.

• 5+ years of electrical experience with a HS Diploma/GED.
• Valid U.S. Work Authorization

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance testing on electrical power distribution systems and equipment.
• Conduct insulation resistance testing, power factor testing, contact resistance testing, and other tests per NETA standards.
• Analyze test results to determine equipment condition and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house using company software; maintain complete job documentation from order receipt to invoice.
• Perform testing of low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays and other equipment.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies in a timely manner.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
