Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing is seeking technicians to perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and startup of electrical distribution equipment in field and shop environments.

The role requires 2+ years of electrical experience, working knowledge of test equipment, and willingness to travel regionally and nationally. NETA/NICET preferred. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of electrical experience with HS diploma or GED.
• US work authorization valid.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support projects onsite and in-house, manage documentation end-to-end.
• Test LV/MV cables, transformers, switchgear, relays and other electrical equipment.
• Respond to emergencies, minimize waste, and promote teamwork.
• Conduct protective relay and circuit breaker testing, timing tests, and power factor tests.
• Maintain detailed test reports and assist in system commissioning.
