Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing is seeking a skilled technician to lead acceptance and maintenance testing of low and medium voltage power distribution equipment. The role involves field and shop work, analysis of test results, and coordination of multiple projects across sites.

Local and regional travel are required, with international travel preferred. Applicants should have 7+ years of electrical experience, valid US work authorization, and familiarity with NETA, NFPA 70E, OSHA standards, and test

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Possess valid/active U.S. Work Authorization.
• Experience with protective relays, switchgear, transformers and testing equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance testing on electrical power distribution systems and equipment.
• Conduct insulation, power factor, contact resistance testing and other tests per NETA standards.
• Analyze results and recommend corrective actions to ensure equipment reliability.
• Coordinate multiple projects onsite and in-house with documentation from order to invoice.
• Maintain detailed test reports and ensure safety protocols and PPE compliance.
