Job summary

Modular Mission Critical is seeking a field service technician to lead inspection, testing, maintenance, and startup of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment in data center and utility environments. Travel locally, regionally, and nationally is required, with international travel preferred.

You will interpret schematics, operate advanced test equipment (Doble, Omicron, Megger, Fluke), and ensure compliance with NETA standards while maintaining thorough test reports and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA standards; NETA/NICET preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and support projects onsite and in-house, review job docs, and ensure information completeness from order receipt to invoice.
• Perform testing of low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, and related equipment.
• Maintain safety and quality by following LOTO procedures and standards; generate detailed test reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and clients to ensure proper commissioning and startup.
