Job summary

Benshaw is seeking a Test Technician to perform functional electrical testing and troubleshooting on electronic components, panels, and assemblies at our Pittsburgh facility.

The role involves final testing, interfacing with Engineering, and ensuring quality and on-time shipments. Candidates should have 2+ years in testing complex electronics, a High School diploma or GED, and prefer an Associate in Electronics. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience testing/troubleshooting complex electronic assemblies
• High School diploma or GED
• Associates in Electronics or equivalent
• Ability to read schematics
• Experience Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook
• Willingness to work overtime
• Team-oriented with Engineering collaboration

Responsibilities

• Perform final visual/electrical/functional tests on complete range of Benshaw products
• Achieve/maintain Company quality goals
• Support on-time shipments; overtime may be required
• Interface with Engineering during product testing for proper operation
• Assist in revising test procedures and develop new ones
• Report quality problems and MRB-related issues promptly
• Maintain test fixtures and related equipment
• Ensure PPE and 5S requirements are followed
• Provide training/support to Manufacturing as needed
• Follow department safety policies and procedures
