Job summary

RTX in Massachusetts is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Test Solutions Engineering team. You will design, develop, and integrate state-of-the-art test systems for complex products, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to meet performance goals.

The role requires hands-on hardware design and testing using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters, with opportunities to influence product validation and field readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) prior to start.
• Knowledge of electrical components including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems within a multidisciplinary team.
• Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs.
• Develop engineering and production test systems that align with cost and schedule goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during the development and implementation phases.
• Utilize modern equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters for validation.
• Collaborate independently or as part of a team to uncover and resolve test product challenges.
