Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Lunar Permanence program. You will execute electrical test campaigns, develop procedures for flight hardware, and lead daily test operations.

The role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and detailed test analysis to reduce risk and cost in spaceflight. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in aerospace test campaigns, with electrical test experience, and a solid grasp of CAD fundamentals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in aerospace test campaigns, with experience in electrical test.
• Ability to self-assign tasking with some oversight and communicate status to leadership.
• Experience working on dispersed rapid development teams, driving process development.
• Basic understanding of design fundamentals (requirements, materials, interfaces, etc.).
• Creo Pro/E CAD skills including drawing creation.

Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of electrical test campaigns in their entirety.
• Plan, develop and execute test procedures for flight hardware.
• Lead daily test operations, operate test consoles, and coordinate with internal customers.
• Perform root cause analyses and failure investigations with system hazard considerations.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during testing and maintain test support equipment.
• Find opportunities for safety improvements and cost savings during campaigns.
• Participate in test readiness reviews, pre/post test briefings, and post test reviews.
• Coordinate test crews and configurations for testing while enforcing safety policies.
