Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Lunar Permanence program, developing and executing comprehensive electrical test campaigns for flight hardware, from planning to data collection.

You will operate test consoles, coordinate with internal customers, participate in root cause analyses and safety reviews, and pursue opportunities for safety improvements and cost savings. Relocation and travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Execute an entire electrical test campaign from initial planning to data collection (flight hardware).
• Plan, develop and execute test procedures for flight hardware.
• Participate in daily test operations and coordinate with internal customers.
• Conduct root cause analysis and system hazard analysis; participate in failure investigations.
• Troubleshoot issues during testing and maintain test support equipment.
• Identify safety improvements and cost-saving opportunities; communicate with engineers and leadership.
• Participate in test readiness reviews and post-test documents.
• Coordinate test crews and configurations for testing; enforce safety policies.
