Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer onsite in Mountain View, CA to lead bench-level testing of PCBs and assemblies for aerospace and automotive systems.

You will design test procedures, fixtures, automate tests, collect data, and support field testing of integrated aircraft and ground systems, with a strong emphasis on debugging and documentation. Requires BS EE and 5+ years in test engineering.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical test engineering experience.
• PCB-level test and debug experience.
• Lab equipment: oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, logic analyzers.
• Test procedure development and documentation.
• Familiarity with the aerospace regulatory environment (FAA airworthiness requirements) and related environmental test standards (e.g., RTCA DO-160).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute bench-level tests for PCBs and assemblies.
• Design test procedures, fixtures, and test benches.
• Develop test automation and data collection.
• Support field testing of integrated aircraft and ground systems.
• Debug failures, perform root-cause analysis, and document results.
• Feed test findings back to design engineers.
