Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems and machinery in our production environment. You will handle controls, conveyors, and equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

Key qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a 2-year associate degree (preferred), and 5+ years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience. PLC skills and CAD familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Two-year Associates Degree in industrial Maintenance field preferred.
• Five or more years industrial electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in use of meters and testing equipment to verify correct operation of electrical components.
• Must be proficient with Computers, and have demonstratable knowledge and ability to use PLC programming software to access and diagnose programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on production equipment and assist mechanical troubleshooting.
• Test, calibrate, repair, and modify control systems and instrumentation.
• Diagnose malfunctions and recommend repairs; minimize downtime.
• Set up, test, and modify electrical machinery per engineering specs.
• Read blueprints and CAD drawings; interpret test data; maintain records.
