Job summary
Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the reliability of the plant's equipment and processes.
The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations across the physical plant, ensuring product safety, legality, and quality in a fast-paced bakery environment. You will troubleshoot equipment, replace worn parts, operate shop machinery, and maintain a clean workspace while complying with company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent training in electronics/electrical tech.
- Experience or training in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
- Experience with industrial equipment installation, alignment and startup repairs.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive maintenance tasks on plant equipment and machinery.
- Performs scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
- Responds to equipment stoppages, troubleshoots, and replaces worn parts and motors.
- Operates machine shop equipment and fabricates parts as needed.
- Maintains clean and safe work area and adheres to company policies.
