Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Production Operator/Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.

The role requires basic expertise in HVAC, welding, electronics, and electrical repairs, with experience in industrial equipment installations and start-up repairs. Associate degree in electronics/electrical technology or equivalent training is preferred.

Qualifications

• One or more years experience as Production Operator or Technician.
• Experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Welding, Electronics, Electrical repairs, Industrial Equipment installations, alignment, start-up repairs, etc.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled/unscheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage or mechanical breakdown; repairs/replaces worn/defective parts.
• Operates machine shop equipment and makes required parts when necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Follows all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley).
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
