Job summary

Epiroc is seeking an Assembler Welder in Garland, TX to perform welding and many assembly operations on drilling rigs. You will follow safety guidelines and QA procedures, reading blueprints and lay out parts for welding and assembly tasks.

The role includes installing hydraulic components, engines, and gear boxes while maintaining a clean workspace. The position requires knowledge of welding principles, reading schematics, and safety practices, with expected 2+ years of welding experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Welding School Certificate preferred.
• 2+ years of welding experience with knowledge of welding principles and blueprints.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Weld components using blueprints.
• Plan and lay out work from blueprints or drawings.
• Install hydraulic controls, pumps, and other system elements.
• Mount engines, gear boxes, and power components.
• Maintain cleanliness of the assembly area.
• Detect and report defective materials or faulty operation.
