Job summary
Aggreko in North Houston, TX is seeking a Technician 1 — Electric to maintain, troubleshoot and repair generators and electrical distribution equipment, as well as HVAC systems.
Based at our North Houston service center, you will travel daily to customer sites in a company vehicle, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, and work with other technicians. Overtime and weekends may be required to support operations and ensure reliability.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required and 2+ years of hands-on experience with diesel/natural gas generators or commercial HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities
- Based out of our North Houston, TX service center, traveling daily to customer sites in a company vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, electrical distribution equipment, chillers, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors
- Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer sites, diagnosing and executing repairs
- Set up and operate equipment independently or alongside fellow technicians, both in the shop and on customer sites
- Work overtime and weekends as needed, with potential for travel to support customer operations
