Job summary

TWE Nonwovens US Inc in High Point, NC is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed manufacturing equipment, focusing on reliability and safety while supporting continuous production.

You'll work with PLCs, automated controls, and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate across departments to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical.
• Minimum 5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with industrial controls, 3phase motors, servos, VFDs, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, troubleshooting PLCs, ladder logic, Allen Bradley RS- Studio 5000, HMIs, networking, print and schematic reading.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, best practices.
• Knowledge of PMs, predictive and pro-active maintenance.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• The ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in tight spaces around machinery.
• Ability to work on-call and overtime as needed.
• Experience working with CMMS is preferred.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables and implement solutions.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Support electrical plant equipment, PMs, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with technicians and other departments to solve problems.
• Set up or operate test equipment to evaluate performance.
• Oversee equipment changeovers and installation tasks.
• Maintain records per safety procedures and CMMS.
• Communicate malfunctions or issues to management.
• Assist with production tasks as needed.
