Job summary

Arconic is seeking a Mechanic to join our Maintenance Team in Springdale, Arkansas. You will perform electrical, mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting, support extrusion and water treatment processes, and perform preventive maintenance on belts, motors and drive systems.

Applicants should be flexible to work various shifts, weekends or holidays, and be able to lift heavy objects. Forklift, crane, genie and scissor lift certification eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• General Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic Troubleshooting Skills.
• Initiative to learn new tasks and training.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Overtime may be required by management.
• Certifications for Forklift, Crane, Gennie, and Scissor Lift.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify problems.
• Troubleshoot pumping circuits and pump failures.
• Repair mechanical drive systems (belts, motors, chains) with minimal assistance.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks (oil levels, inspections).
• Understand manufacturing operations (extrusion, water treatment, anodizing, paint).
• Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor.
