Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks an Electrical Technician on 2nd shift in Greenwood, SC. Core hours are 3:00 pm–1:00 am; starting pay $27.00/hr plus $1.00/hr shift differential. Eligible for a variable incentive program.

You will inspect, test, and diagnose Eaton products, develop test plans, and document repairs to ensure quality before shipment. Responsibilities include interpreting diagrams, performing electrical and insulation tests, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years in power distribution or electrical distribution OR an Associate degree in related field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, insulation, and sequence testing on panels and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot failures and coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams for corrective actions.
• Maintain test equipment, calibration status, and inspection records.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection and functional testing of Eaton products to ensure quality and compliance prior to shipment.
• Develop and execute test plans, conduct electrical/electronic testing, and inspect components across a wide range of products.
• Identify root causes of failures and document repairs; interpret diagrams and procedures.
• Maintain calibration, test documentation, and inspection records; follow safety guidelines.
