Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Greenwood, SC, is seeking an Electrical Technician for 1st shift to perform final inspection and functional testing of Eaton products, ensuring quality before shipment. The role develops and executes test plans, conducts electrical tests, and inspects components across structures, panels, and assemblies.

You will diagnose issues, document repairs, and follow engineered test procedures. Relocation is not offered, and a fifty-mile radius residency is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in power distribution or electrical distribution.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex electrical circuits.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow diagrams, drawings, and specs to set up, inspect, and test equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, insulation, and sequence testing; inspect panels, assemblies, and components.
• Troubleshoot test failures, determine root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with Engineering/Quality/Supervisory teams.
• Validate customer orders for accuracy and assist customer inspectors during testing and inspection processes.
• Maintain test equipment, calibration status, test documentation, and inspection records.
