Job summary

Aggreko is seeking an Electrical Technician 2 in Baltimore, MD to install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair power distribution equipment including transformers, switchgear, load banks, cables, and BESS.

You will support field and service center operations, ensure safety and technical standard compliance, and strive to meet customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Technical aptitude across generators, HVAC equipment, and power systems.
• Experience with BESS equipment and related controls is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and use data entry and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Set up and operate equipment in-house and at customer locations.
• Complete paperwork and use computer systems accurately and timely.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures on-site and in-house.
• Use formulas to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and kW requirements.
• Test, maintain, and repair BESS products and related systems.
