Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking an Electrical Technician - 1st shift in Greenwood, SC. The starting rate is $27.00 per hour and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Core hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:00 pm. The Electrical Technician will perform final inspection and functional testing of Eaton products, develop test plans, conduct electrical testing, and inspect components and connections across structures, panels, and assemblies to ensure quality before

Qualifikationen

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must have two (2) years of experience in power distribution or electrical distribution OR currently enrolled in or have graduated with an Associate's degree program in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Greenwood facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position

Aufgaben

• Interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, drawings, and specifications to set up, inspect, and test equipment
• Perform mechanical, electrical, insulation, and sequence testing; inspect panels, assemblies, and components to verify quality and functionality
• Troubleshoot test failures, determine root causes, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and supervisory teams on corrective actions
• Validate customer orders for accuracy and completeness; support customer inspectors during testing and inspection processes
• Recommend and assist with improvements to assembly, wiring, calibration, and testing methods; ensure required changes and repairs are completed
• Maintain test equipment, calibration status, test documentation, and inspection records
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, hygiene standards, and housekeeping practices
