Job summary

Signal Energy LLC is hiring a field technician to support solar construction projects with tasks including splices, equipment installs, labeling, fiber terminations, and survey/as-built documentation. The role requires outdoor work on site, enduring diverse weather conditions and following detailed instructions with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

GED or equivalent education is preferred; prior solar construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50+ lb materials and place them correctly.
• Can perform repetitive motions (stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching).
• Capable of long periods of standing or walking.
• Follows precise instructions and takes feedback.
• Works well in teams with colleagues and supervisors.
• Experience in solar construction preferred.
• Works outdoors in varied weather, including rain, snow, heat and cold.
• Must work in all weather as safety permits.
• Exposure to noise, dust, debris and construction hazards may occur.

• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
