Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Technical Trainer, Electrical (Starship) to design and deliver hands-on training for electrical systems used in Starship programs. You will collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to create engaging content, run classroom and online sessions, and assess learner performance.

The role requires at least 1 year of hands-on trainer experience, a journeyman or NCCER license, and the ability to work overtime on-site.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience as a technical/on-the-job trainer, conducting hands-on, instructor-led technical courses.
Journeyman or NCCER industrial license.
High school diploma or equivalency certificate.

Responsibilities

Create course materials using educational tools: PowerPoint, student handouts, exams, study materials, and instructor-led student assessments
Own, create, and edit training Engineering Masters (EMs) for relevant training courses
Partner with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging content for various audiences and delivery modes with clear learning outcomes
Lead training modules (classroom and online) for electrical teams on technical topics
Assess and evaluate student performance through practical tests, projects, and written exams
Organize, schedule, and manage enrollments, attendance, and student performance
Develop process specifications and research on new technologies
Perform special assignments such as leading vehicle or process modifications in the field
Engage Production Management, Engineering, Quality for feedback and improvements
Coordinate with third party vendors for specialized resources and instruction
