Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Particleboard facility in Diboll, Texas seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support a 12-hour rotating shift across the production department. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment, maintaining PLCs and VFDs, and executing preventative maintenance to ensure reliability.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience and familiarity with multiple voltages.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Experience with different voltages (e.g. DC, 3 Phase, medium voltage).

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and circuits.
• Maintain, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot circuits on pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics for installation and repair.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
