Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Alcolu, SC seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician (E&I) for our Clarendon OSB facility. This DAY SHIFT role includes a 7:00am–3:00pm schedule with potential weekends/holidays/overtime as needed.

You will install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, PLCs, and VFDs while supporting safe, reliable plant operations. We value experience in electrical/electronic controls and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
• Experience with PLCs and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) is a plus.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and circuits.
• Maintain, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and control circuits.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and install equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
