ADB SAFEGATE in Columbus, OH is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to deliver first-line phone and remote assistance for electrical and computer systems, including startup and troubleshooting for airfield hardware and software.

The role requires 2–4 years of related experience, a EE/EET degree or equivalent, a valid driver's license and clean driving record; you will train customers, support FAA policies familiarity, and participate in in-office scheduling with 24/7 emergency coverage on a

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Associate in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), or equivalent experience.
Two to Four years related experience or the equivalent combination of experience and education.
Two to Four years of experience working as a field technician or related experience.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Must pass any required BCI and FBI Background Check.
Fluent English (oral and written communication skills).

Responsibilities

Providing professional, technical customer service over the phone, email, etc., to troubleshoot, diagnose and assist airfield personnel and contractors.
Performing technical training classes for standard products to internal and external customers.
Performing both in house customer validation testing.
Becoming familiar with FAA airport policies, procedures and products.
