Job summary

Air Transport Services Group seeks an Avionics Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification of aircraft electrical and avionics systems in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements. You will read manuals, interpret drawings, and work under approved maintenance standards.

The role requires ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime, plus a valid driver’s license. FAA A&P license is a plus and FCC license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FCC license preferred but not required.
• 2 years of avionics experience in a heavy maintenance or modification environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, work instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
• Basic understanding of CFR Part 145 repair station operations
• Must be able to obtain airport SIDA badge
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime
• FAA A&P license a plus
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.

• Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved maintenance procedures
• Record work performed and assume responsibility for that work as indicated by his/her signature
• Use blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals in performance of assigned duties
