Job summary

PDF Solutions is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to advance the eProbe tool with a focus on reliability, performance, and safe, compliant operation. You will manage electrical subsystems, drive DfR initiatives, and ensure robust supply chains for critical components across the product lifecycle.

The role covers design validation, predictive testing, failure analysis, and coordination with procurement and manufacturing teams to minimize downtime and maximize tool availability.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with substantial industry experience.
• Experience with DFMEA and reliability analyses preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor tool subsystems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive Design for Reliability (DfR) for eProbe and define reliability targets across subsystems.
• Develop test plans and lead burn-in and ALT strategies for early failure detection.
• Perform DFMEA, fault tree analysis, and coordinate corrective actions with teams.
• Coordinate obsolescence management, supplier performance, and on-time delivery.
