PDF Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to advance the reliability and performance of its eProbe® electron-beam inspection tools.

The role covers electrical subsystem reliability, BOM management, supplier coordination, and on-time delivery within a global manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with substantial industry experience.
• Experience with reliability standards and analysis methods (DFMEA, MTBF, ALT, HALT, HASS, HTOL).
• Experience with supply chain management for electrical components and vendors.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Design for Reliability (DfR) for eProbe electrical subsystems and ensure reliability targets.
• Develop stress testing plans and conduct accelerated life testing across electrical, thermal, and mechanical domains.
• Perform failure analysis (DFMECA, fault tree) and coordinate corrective actions.
• Obsolescence management and supplier coordination to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure electrical safety/compliance per IEC, UL, JEDEC standards.
