Job summary

ReCon Management Services, Sulphur, LA, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to develop and oversee engineering drawings for all project phases, from feasibility through construction. You will focus on power distribution systems, HV/LV equipment, and coordination with clients and project managers.

You will mentor junior engineers, review packages for accuracy, and craft front-end scopes of work and design plans.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with at least six years in industrial, petrochemical or utility sectors.
• Experience developing electrical specs for generators, motors and transformers.
• Ability to lead drawings for power distribution systems incl. schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in reviewing engineering packages for accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of hazardous area classification and field evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical specifications and lead electrical design efforts.
• Create and review drawings and diagrams for power distribution.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients and PMs.
• Assist in project scopes, budgets, and front-end engineering.
• Perform field evaluations and data gathering for projects.
