Job summary

RigUp is seeking a Senior Electrical Wiring Designer to deliver high-level electrical design and drafting for complex power generation projects supporting critical infrastructure and industrial operations. The role requires independent execution and technical oversight.

You will generate diagrams and drawings, perform field verifications, review vendor submittals, and mentor junior staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to QA processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in electrical and instrumentation wiring design within the power generation sector.
• Experience in detailed design and drafting at EPC, engineering consulting, or utility contexts.
• Proficiency in SPEL, SPI, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
• Ability to generate wiring drawings for MV/LV, control/wiring schematics, and distribution panels.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex electrical design tasks for power generation projects.
• Develop single-line diagrams, MCC layouts, and wiring termination drawings.
• Perform field visits and on-site panel audits.
• Review vendor submittals for conformance.
• Mentor junior designers and coordinate cross-disciplinary work.
• Support client design reviews and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure QA and budgets adherence across designs.
