Job summary

You will develop 3D models, installation drawings, schematics and BOMs; collaborate with manufacturing, quality and test groups; prototype, test and apply results to new designs; ensure regulatory compliance in all projects.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree and 3+ years of related experience.
• Automotive design and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design school bus electrical systems and develop 3D models, installation drawings, schematics and BOMs.
• Prototype, test and apply results; provide production/warranty support with cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Field Service, Quality, Purchasing and other departments; communicate across teams.
