Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. seeks a field engineering/commissioning professional to oversee commissioning and field engineering for distributed infrastructure systems. You will be the liaison between clients, PowerSecure engineering, service, and operations to ensure high-quality field vetting of systems.

Role requires extensive travel (up to 75–95%), strong electrical theory knowledge, PLC and protective relay experience, and proficient documentation and communication skills. NFPA 70 Arc Flash is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years of commercial/industrial experience working on generators, ATS, and/or switchgear.
• Advanced understanding of AC/DC Electrical Theory.

Responsibilities

• Document onsite changes to As-Shipped Drawings and Settings Files.
• Program and edits to PLCs, generator controllers, and protective relays.
• Communicate clearly with project management and engineering to ensure scope and schedule integrity.
