Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a driven Electrical/C&DH engineer to analyze requirements and decompose them into hardware and software specs, manage interfaces, and lead verification across the development lifecycle. You will coordinate vendors, review documentation, and influence design for testability on major flight programs.

The role demands TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI, hands-on execution, and strong communication across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 2 years' experience or a Master’s degree with 0 years.
  • Technical experience in Electrical Systems or C&DH subsystem Engineering.
  • Experience with flight hardware development, MRB/PM&P, procurement and EIDP.
  • Active TS Clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
  • Hands-on mentality and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform requirement analysis and decompose customer requirements into hardware and software specs.
  • Manage electrical interfaces and develop interconnect diagrams and grounding plans.
  • Coordinate vendors, review AS‑planned/AS‑designed documentation and test plans.
  • Develop and verify electrical connectivity, harness implementation, and safety segregation.
  • Lead design integration, verification, and validation for CDH electrical-system elements.
  • Oversee cost estimates and scheduling for CDH subsystems on major programs.
  • Interface with design and manufacturing to monitor production and status.
