Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to own ruggedized electronics design and scale legacy concepts for production. You will partner with Architecture and Product Management to drive requirements and own PCB/electrical system design, de-risk high risk areas, and validate electronics for embedded compute and power systems.

The role requires designing mission-critical hardware, coordinating with teammates across engineering disciplines, and ensuring manufacturability

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in electrical design.
• Experience designing digital & analog electronics from concept to production.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and improve designs.
• Ability to document design requirements, test coverage and reports.
• Full cycle PCB design including schematic, layout, bring-up and validation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership as the main point of contact for electrical integration activities.
• Provide hands-on and in-field support of prototype and production level product.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to optimize high power components and distribution.
• Trade-off component selections against size, weight, power and EMC requirements.
• Work with design team to achieve system reliability goals.
