SpaceX in Bastrop, TX is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for Starlink gateways and customer hardware. You will own the electrical system development for high-volume consumer hardware including Starlink dishes, routers, and gateways, interfacing with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and hands-on experience with circuits, PCB design, and mixed-signal hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 1+ years designing circuits, electronics, or hardware.
• Experience with PCB design and test.
• Strong in Python or C/C++ programming.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and test reliable electronics for communicating with satellites.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing teams.
• Lead system trades, requirements capture, component selection, and PCB layout.
• Support hardware bring-up and production tests.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance hardware.
• Develop tools to analyze data from on-orbit and lab tests.
• Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues.
