Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead plant electrical activities across multiple MCCs, PLC platforms and instrumentation.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and improve electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable operation and provide hands-on leadership to electricians and contractors. The role requires a Journeyman Electrician License, 10+ years of industrial electrical experience, and familiarity with MCCs, VFDs, Schneider Modicon Quantum and MS&D

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent industrial electrical certification.
• Field of Study: Electrical Engineering/Industrial Electrical or related.
• 10+ years of industrial electrical experience.
• NFPA 70E familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems across 4160V/480V/240V/120V equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain instrumentation and control systems, transmitters, sensors and valves for reliable plant performance.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, I/O, and communication issues; support automation improvements.
• Lead electrical/controls work for capital and maintenance projects; ensure safe installations and upgrades.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors; ensure quality, schedule, documentation and safety requirements.
• Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and emergency responses to restore operations.
• Drive reliability improvements via preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate documentation (work orders, PMs, as-built drawings).
• Promote safety culture; ensure compliance with LOTO, NFPA 70E, OSHA.
