Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Electrical Supervisor at our Midlothian Cement Plant, TX. The role leads electrical maintenance, plans projects and ensures reliability of plant equipment, reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, with a focus on safety and production uptime.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering or 8 years equivalent experience, 5+ years in electrical supervision, PLC programming, and familiarity with HMI systems. Travel is 0–10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical supervision and project experience.
• PLC programming experience and knowledge of HMI systems.
• Proficiency with SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and oversee the execution of all electrical maintenance activities to maximize equipment utilization and reliability.
• Keep the Electrical Superintendent informed of issues, budget compliance, equipment reliability and inter-department coordination.
• Develop and maintain the electrical and computer control system Predictive/Preventive Maintenance program.
• Daily monitoring of plant electrical equipment to ensure reliability through inspections and process monitoring.
• Prioritize, plan, schedule and assign electrical and control system work, coordinating with other departments.
• Define, write and implement process control programs.
• Provide control system training and guidance for plant personnel.
• Support CAPEX and drive plant improvement activities; promote health, safety and environmental policies.
