Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical operations on self-performed construction projects in the Industrial and Water market. The role requires supervising foremen and craft workers, providing oversight and training, and performing daily inspections while coordinating with engineers and suppliers.

Travel to various project sites across the US is required, with per diem and competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in self-perform construction, with at least 3+ years as Superintendent.
• Knowledge of state license requirements for journeymen/apprentice ratios to perform electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical scope of a project as Superintendent, managing foremen and electrical craft workers.
• Coordinate with field engineering and craft to ensure compliance with drawings and specs and address engineering challenges.
• Interface with other superintendents, subcontractors, inspection companies, client, and Kiewit staff to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Establish budgetary guidelines and ensure cost control; provide job safety training and awareness.
