Job summary

Kiewit is hiring an Electrical Superintendent for travel‑based field leadership on power generation, industrial, and other electrical construction projects. You will lead general foremen, foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and field engineers to ensure safe, efficient work per project specs, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years electrical construction experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience as a Foreman or Superintendent.
• Hands-on electrical installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, IEEE.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all electrical construction activities.
• Direct and support foremen, electricians, and subcontractors to meet objectives.
• Monitor productivity, labor usage, and equipment needs.
• Ensure work adheres to drawings, specs, quality standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams.
• Track labor costs and project progress.
• Identify efficiency improvements and reduce rework.
• Support look-ahead planning, schedule reviews, and progress tracking.
• Maintain labor budgets and production goals.
• Assist manpower forecasting, resource planning, and sequencing.
• Mitigate schedule risks while preserving milestones.
