Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2, Electrical for our Mission Critical projects in Kansas City, MO. This role will oversee safety culture, subcontractor coordination, and project execution on complex electrical builds for data centers and related facilities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction with 3+ years in field supervision, and a mandated/preferred Lean approach. A valid driver’s license and ability to handle physical demands are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles (Preferred).
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May require periods of travel and/or relocation.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
• Provides management of subcontractors and organization of the overall job and workflow.
• Manages and oversees company staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs such as Safety, Quality and EEO for a small project or a major portion of a larger project.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages the care, custody and control of the project site.
• Leads various meetings including daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Attends, manages and participates in appropriate progress and/or project OAC meetings.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred)
