• Establish clear daily priorities and communicate work requirements.
• Coordinate multiple work crews and maintain accountability for workmanship, safety, attendance and productivity.
• Conduct daily site walks to review progress and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a consistent on-site presence as the primary field representative.
• Coordinate activities across occupied buildings and restricted-access areas.

I am working with an established electrical contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the on-site delivery of complex electrical construction projects across New York City.

This position offers the opportunity to lead electrical installations across commercial, mixed-use, healthcare, institutional and mission-critical developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing field operations, supervising labour and subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring all electrical work is delivered in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Leadership and Site Operations

• Direct and oversee daily electrical construction activities from project mobilization through commissioning and final handover.
• Supervise foremen, electricians, apprentices, subcontractors and specialist vendors.
• Allocate labour effectively across work areas, ensuring productivity targets and installation milestones are achieved.
• Establish clear daily priorities, communicate work requirements and monitor field performance.
• Coordinate multiple work crews and maintain accountability for workmanship, safety, attendance and productivity.
• Conduct daily site walks to review installation progress, identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a consistent on-site presence and act as the primary field representative for the electrical contractor.
• Coordinate activities across occupied buildings, phased construction environments and restricted-access work areas where applicable.
