Job Title: Electrical Superintendent (Marine/Industrial)

Location: Houston, TX or regional office or remote (with approximately 50% travel)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the electrical systems of a specialized fleet operating in marine and industrial environments. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance and repair of electrical equipment across multiple vessels and project sites.

This position works closely with engineering, vessel crews, operations, and procurement teams, and requires regular travel to project locations throughout the U.S. and occasionally internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for vessel crews regarding electrical systems, troubleshooting, and technical support
• Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance for assigned vessels
• Coordinate third-party repair efforts and offsite electrical work
• Ensure compliance with regulatory inspection requirements and maintain up-to-date certifications
• Support dry-docking and repair periods in collaboration with internal teams
• Maintain an organized fleet-level inventory of critical electrical spare parts
• Identify and implement improvements in electrical system performance, reliability, and efficiency
• Respond to after-hours and emergency support needs as necessary
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical construction or maintenance experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA), and safety regulations
• Experience working with vessels, marine equipment, or in industrial environments is strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Proficiency with project management or maintenance scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, CMMS)
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
• Strong communication and leadership skills
