Gudekauf has established itself as a leader in the infrastructure/cabling contractor and maintenance markets in the USA. With high-end customer demand, we started an electrical division. Our experience allows us to handle challenging multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects within the industrial, commercial & civil sectors, managed by our team of qualified project managers and supervisors, from pre-construction to turnkey solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
2. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
3. Oversee scheduling and sequencing of work activities.
4. Implement and control job site safety, including attire, safety meetings, documentation, postings, and OSHA compliance.
5. Conduct inspections to ensure quality control standards.
6. Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, and contract documents.
7. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve design or construction issues.
8. Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
9. Possess experience in commercial building trades and reading plan drawings.
10. Maintain a proven track record of keeping projects on schedule and within budget, with high quality standards (please submit project list).
11. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a commercial superintendent.
12. Be tech-savvy (Outlook, Word, Excel, internet).
13. Exhibit excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
14. Be self-motivated, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
15. Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and employees.
16. Keep the job site clean and organized daily.
17. Provide progress reports on subcontractor performance, job progress, permitting, site issues, troubleshooting, and accidents.
18. Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
19. Pass background checks and drug testing.
20. Meet all new hire requirements set by E-Verify.
21. Possess a college degree or technical training (a plus).
22. Bi-lingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the commercial electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Familiarity with estimating and budgeting.
• Leadership and supervisory skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.

A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered based on qualifications and experience. A company truck may be provided depending on experience and location. This is a traveling position requiring 8-10 hour shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed, with overtime as required by business needs.
