We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who knows how to manage crews, coordinate complex installations, solve field challenges, and keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
You will oversee electrical construction from initial mobilization through final punch-out while managing manpower, materials, productivity, safety, quality, and daily field execution.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee electrical construction from groundbreaking through final completion
- Lead the safe installation of electrical systems from power distribution through final punch-out
- Manage daily manpower, scheduling, quality control, logistics, and field productivity
- Plan and sequence work to keep projects on schedule
- Coordinate closely with Foremen and field crews to drive production
- Review drawings, specifications, blueprints, and project documents
- Ensure installations meet project requirements and quality standards
- Coordinate with prefabrication teams to maximize field efficiency and productivity
- Ensure tools, materials, equipment, and manpower are available when needed
- Manage electrical materials, tools, and equipment assigned to the project
- Monitor labor productivity and identify opportunities to improve project performance
- Maintain accurate daily reports, time sheets, material requests, safety records, and project documentation
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and manpower needs to project leadership
- Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and other trades
- Use Procore and other project management tools to track progress and maintain accurate reporting
- Lead punch-list activities and support project closeout
Safety & Quality Leadership
- Maintain a strong culture of jobsite safety
- Ensure compliance with NEC requirements, local building codes, project standards, and safety regulations
- Conduct or participate in safety meetings and jobsite planning
- Identify potential hazards and correct unsafe conditions
- Monitor installation quality throughout the project
- Ensure deficiencies are addressed quickly and properly
- Promote accountability and quality workmanship across field teams
- Lead and develop Foremen, Lead Electricians, and field personnel
- Set clear expectations for safety, quality, productivity, and professionalism
- Mentor team members and support their professional growth
- Help resolve field challenges and remove obstacles affecting production
- Build a collaborative environment focused on project success
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction
- Proven experience leading large-scale electrical projects
- Previous Electrical Superintendent or senior field leadership experience
- Strong understanding of electrical installation methods and construction sequencing
- In-depth knowledge of the NEC and local electrical codes
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and blueprints
- Experience managing manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and schedules
- Strong leadership and team-development skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple trades and project stakeholders
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and digital project management tools
- Experience with Procore is highly preferred
