Job description

Build your next career move in mission-critical electrical construction.

I’m working with a leading electrical and technology contractor looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join their team in Atlanta, GA.

Projects span data centers, healthcare facilities, transportation infrastructure, government facilities and advanced manufacturing, including both ground-up construction and complex renovations.

The Role

As Electrical Superintendent, you’ll play a key role in planning and delivering electrical construction activities from the early stages of a project through to completion. You’ll lead field teams, coordinate resources and materials, manage day-to-day site operations and ensure work is delivered in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electrical field teams, including foremen, electricians and technicians.

  • Develop project estimates, installation plans and schedules alongside the wider project team.

  • Coordinate daily site activities, labour allocation, materials and equipment to maintain project progress.

  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts and scopes of work to ensure accurate execution.

  • Monitor progress against project schedules, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions.

  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, clients and other project stakeholders.

  • Oversee electrical installations to ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety standards and quality requirements.

  • Support procurement and material planning to ensure equipment and materials are available when required.

  • Promote a strong safety culture and maintain high standards of workmanship across the site.

  • Monitor productivity, project costs and resource utilisation to support overall project performance.

  • Provide regular progress updates and work closely with project leadership to resolve technical and operational challenges.

  • Mentor and develop foremen and electrical personnel, supporting the progression of future field leaders.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience within the electrical construction industry.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Foreman or equivalent electrical leadership position.

  • Experience supervising electrical installations on large-scale commercial, industrial or mission-critical projects.

  • Strong understanding of electrical construction drawings, specifications, installation methods and relevant codes.

  • Proven ability to coordinate field labour, materials, subcontractors and project schedules.

  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

  • A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality projects while maintaining schedule and budget targets.

  • High school diploma or GED.
