Job summary

Summit Construction Advisors seeks a hands‑on Superintendent to own complex electrical commercial and multi‑family projects in Phoenix. You will lead field teams, drive safety, and ensure timely, within-budget delivery while coordinating with management, vendors, and subcontractors.

You will oversee crews of 10–20+ electricians, mentor field staff, and partner with procurement, prefabrication, and accounting to optimize on-site execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction field leadership experience, preferred in commercial or multi-family projects.
• Ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and sequencing.
• Solid knowledge of applicable building codes and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communicator who leads teams across departments.
• Proficient with basic construction and office software tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site electrical construction activities from mobilization through completion.
• Champion jobsite safety and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Oversee daily field operations including manpower planning, material coordination, and equipment needs.
• Track project progress, productivity, and costs; adjust to meet schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with project management, vendors, and subcontractors to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Manage field documentation including daily reports, labor tracking, and material usage.
• Drive project schedules and logistics; ensure milestones are met.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop field teams, typically 10-20+ electricians.
• Step in to support field work and lead by example on the jobsite.
• Partner with internal teams such as procurement, prefabrication, and accounting to support execution.

We are partnering with a leading electrical contractor to identify a Superintendent who can take ownership of complex, large-scale electrical commercial and multi-family construction projects. This role is responsible for driving field execution, leading crews, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and at a high level of quality.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in electrical construction with strong field leadership experience, commercial, warehouse/manufacturing, or multi-family project experience preferred
• Proven ability to successfully deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and construction sequencing
• Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and safety standards
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communicator who can lead teams and collaborate across departments
• Proficiency with basic construction and office software tools

Preferred:

• Journeyman certification or equivalent field experience
• OSHA 30 certification
