Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking an Electrical Student Intern for our Austin, TX office. You will develop an understanding of electrical power, lighting, control, and communications systems related to building and site infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, performing calculations, coordinating with vendors, and supporting engineers. This internship requires enrollment in a BSEE program (ABET accredited), Sophomore–Senior, GPA 3.0+, and strong verbal and written

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited BSEE program.
• Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing BS in Electrical Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Local to the Denver area.
• Must have ability to work legally in the United States for unlimited time without requiring sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of electrical power, lighting, control, and communications systems for building and site infrastructure projects.
• Read engineering drawings and specifications, perform calculations, coordinate information with vendors, and conduct field site visits.
• Assist in design tasks under supervision, including electrical system modeling, lighting/power calculations, and wiring drawings.
