Saber Power Services is seeking an Engineering Technician II to provide technical support for electrical power system and substation projects in Houston. You will work with engineers, designers, and field personnel to develop drawings, calculations, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, field data collection, and documentation control, with opportunities to contribute to multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical engineering technology or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in engineering technician, electrical design, drafting, or power industry preferred.
• Experience with electrical power systems, substations, transmission, distribution, or renewables preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and designers with electrical power system and substation designs.
• Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Support field investigations, data collection, and site walks.
