Job summary

Weston Solutions seeks an experienced Construction Manager/Site Superintendent III to lead field execution on a Hanscom Air Force Base substation repair project in Bedford, MA. You will direct on-site activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence for a multi-year federal design-build effort.

Qualified candidates bring 8–12 years in heavy civil or utility construction, MV electrical experience, and DoD/federal project familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 8–12 years of construction management or field leadership experience.
• Experience managing medium-voltage electrical infrastructure, substations, and DoD/federal projects preferred.
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification and OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct field construction activities and coordinate with the Project Manager and subcontractors.
• Administer subcontractor performance, schedules, and safety plans.
• Coordinate electrical outages, outages, switchovers, and energization per approved plans.
• Review plans, shop drawings, and RFIs; resolve field design and constructability issues.
• Maintain field logs, progress reporting, and project documentation.
• Support procurement, bid evaluation, and subcontractor selection processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site quality control procedures.
